Thanks to the narrations that some eye witnesses led us about the events that took place in Santafe de Bogota on july 1810, we can know a lot of details of that important stage in the colombian independence process. Between those witnesses of 200 years ago there are, at least, four that remain anonymous, known as the Anonymous Criollo, the Anonymous Santafereno, the Anonymous Witness and the Eye Witness. But, who were these anonymous witnesses?, Who found their narrations?, Where are the original writings?, Who has published them? This article attempts to answer these questions, by means of a bibliographic and archive study.
