Resumen El liderazgo transformacional se consolida como el proceso que permitira a las ONG afrontar los retos y cambios del presente, de tal forma que se garantice la sostenibilidad en el futuro. Este articulo, a partir de la hipotesis “en las ONGA —organizaciones no gubernamentales de Antioquia—, los seguidores perciben los componentes del liderazgo transformacional en el estilo del lider”, presenta una investigacion empirica que caracterizo las componentes de ese tipo de liderazgo, percibidas por los seguidores. Para alcanzar este objetivo, se aplico un formulario valido y confiable, utilizando el proceso de percepcion a los seguidores del lider. Como resultado del estudio se logro comprobar que en las ONGA, se percibe un estilo de liderazgo transformacional apoyado, entre otras, en las dimensiones accion, motivacion y potencia, en las que se destacan las variables, inteligencia, moral y carisma. Abstract The transformational leadership has become established like the process that will allow to non-governmental organizations to face the challenges and changes of current times, in such a way that their future sustainability can be taken for granted. This article, based on this hypothesis “in the non-governmental organizations of Antioquia the followers perceive the components of the transformational leadership in the style of the leader”, presents an empirical research that characterized the components of this type of leadership which are perceived by the followers. In order to achieve this objective, it was used a form considered as valid and reliable, using the process of perception with the followers of the leader. As a result of this study it was verified that in the non-governmental organizations of Antioquia is perceived a style of transformational leadership which is supported, among others, in the dimensions action, motivation and power, standing out variables such as intelligence, moral and charm. Resume Le leadership transformationnel se consolide comme le processus qui va permettre aux organisations non gouvernementales d’affronter les defis et changements du temps present, de telle maniere que soit garanti leur viabilite dans la future. Cet article, a partir de l’hypothese «dans les organisations non-gouvernementales d’Antioquia les supporters percoivent les composants de leadership transformationnel dans le style du leader», present une recherche empirique qui a caracterise les composants de ce type de leadership percues par les supporters. Pour reussir cet objectif, on a applique un formulaire qui nous considerons valable et fiable, en utilisant le processus de perception chez les supporters du leader. Comme resultat de cette etude on a verifie que dans les ONGs d’Antioquia, on percoit un style de leadership transformationnel supporte, entre autres, dans les dimensions: action, motivation et puissance, dans lesquels on souligne les variables d’intelligence, morale et charisme.
