The aim of this work was discuss on clinical findings, clinical pathology tests and their usefulness as prognostic indicators in a female equine patient with fatty liver. It is described a case in a native Colombian mare that entered the outpatient service at veterinary hospital Diego Villegas Toro of the University of Caldas with slow intestinal transit signs and mild colic.
