In order to increase metal adsorption capacity, lignin was oxidised with H2O2. A Plackett-Burman design (2 6*3/16 ) with 4 central points was created, the response variables are the Ni(II) and Cd(II) remove percentage. The lignin was characterized physicochemical and by FTIR spectroscopic method. The values of factors for the best removal capacity are: mass of lignin, 4.0; water volumen, 60.0 mL; H2O2 volumen, 20 mL, catalist volumen, 0.3 mL; time reaction, 1.5 hr and H2O2 flow, 0.5 mL/min.
