El proposito de ir mostrando la aproximacion del joven Julio Enrique Blanco a la obra de Kant tiene un caracter tematico y no esta motivada por el simple hecho de leer a un autor importante. Debido a este interes por Kant, Julio Enrique Blanco se procuro, a traves de un librero local, las obras principales del filosofo aleman en su idioma original. Luego se dio a la tarea de traducirlas al castellano. Para 1911, encontramos ya dos traducciones: “Prolegomenos a toda Metafisica del Porvenir”, y “De las Formas y Principios del Mundo sensible e inteligible”, esta ultima directamente del latin (es bueno aqui recordar que Blanco para estos anos ya manejaba ingles, frances, griego y latin).
