A checklist ofthe angiosperms ofthe «Paramo de Chisaca» (Sumapaz region, Eastern range ofthe Colombian Andes) is presented. This catalogue contains 45 families, 132 genera and 243 species, seven of which are endemic to Sumapaz. The families with the greatest number of species and genera are Asteraceae (55/27), Poaceae (20/1 2), Apiaceae (1517) and Rosaceae (14/4). The growth form, the vegetation type where it was most frequently found and a reference collection are included for each species.
