Resumen El lenguaje dentro de los procesos de ensenanza-aprendizaje es y sera siempre una de las primordiales herramientas, no solo de calidad, sino de la permanencia y motivacion estudiantil en toda institucion educativa. La Fundacion Universitaria Catolica del Norte pretende fortalecer la permanencia de sus estudiantes desde la comunicacion asertiva en sus cursos, con una buena orientacion de sus docentes, para que manejen, ademas de instrumentos innovadores y pertinentes, un lenguaje acogedor, asertivo, amistoso, respetuoso, disciplinar, y sobre todo, alentador y propositivo para que despierte en sus estudiosos amor y pasion por el conocimiento, y de esta manera asegurar la culminacion de sus metas. Abstract The language within teaching-learning processes is, and always will be, one of the main tools, not only regarding quality, but also for dropout prevention and student motivation in any educational institution. The Catholic of the North University (FUCN Spanish acronym) searches to prevent student dropout based on assertive communication in their courses, providing a good guidance from teachers, for students in addition to use innovative and proper instruments, use an assertive, friendly, warm, respectful and disciplinary language and above all encouraging and proposing, promoting love and passion for study thus ensuring the achievement of sudent’s goals.
