The landscape allows one to reflect on the relationship between the individual and the territory. The legal treatment given to this relationship allows one to reflect on the existence of a legal category called landscape that can, in addition, be understood as a subjective right. The Colombian legislation has understood the landscape as a resource, heritage and value in cultural and social terms and has hence established protection mechanisms.
