A study was presented in the period January to December 2009 , at Children's Hospital Octavio de la Concepcion de la Pedraja Holguin to evaluate the satisfaction of the quality of the emergency process . To corroborate this, different methods were used as observation , expert consultation , comparison, survey, historical - logical analysis - synthesis and hypothetical - deductive . It was observed that most patients presenting to the emergency room have no urgent basis and can be seen at primary care level , and there are structural and organizational difficulties that impede adequate care . We arrived at the conclusion that the population makes a misuse of the emergency room due to lack of health education , in spite of this, a high level of satisfaction is shown and the majority of the persons surveyed expressed their preference for our institution .
