The following undergraduate work, methodologically addressed through a qualitative study, which main objective is to describe the experiences of a group of mothers who work outside the home, on the upbringing of children under 5 years in terms of feelings , fears and learning in the city of Bogota, as the entry of women into the workplace has had two important effects such as greater economic independence and increased family time spent working outside the home, these effects have their once consequences on those around her, since joining the labor market, having to reconcile their work responsibilities with their responsibilities within the family, other important aspects is the education of children, but many women feel that the time they have left can not invest in their children, even if they have more help with housework and surfaces in the sense that they are not there when you need them, that they share the limited time he used to scold but to strengthen the relationship and much of women, to a greater or lesser extent, feels guilty about going to work, not full time to share with their children, to get tired at night often without the patience or the courage to address them. Similarly Sentiments generating development work and parenting, some mothers feel challenged and feel that they should spend more time with their children, thinking that if so, the children would achieve better physical, emotional and social also a growing percentage of women and married men work outside the home, while the remainder of parental presence in the home and forces families to use various means to care for their children such as child care, caregivers or relatives at home.
