This work is a review of literature to determine the processes by which science is developed, applied, and disseminated. It is a study of publications for the purpose of finding and analyzing these processes so that the university and the State may have a reference, and may use it in their projects in the future. In addition, this work presents an analysis of the development of this theme in Colombian academia from the point of view of research, development indicators, and knowledge transfer.
