Resumen En este trabajo se presentan las correlaciones estadisticas para la estimacion de parametros reologicos a partir de parametros quimicos, para dos asfaltos colombianos y un asfalto venezolano, sometidos a ensayos de envejecimiento acelerado en laboratorio. Las propiedades reologicas se evaluaron mediante la obtencion de curvas maestras (analisis dinamico-mecanico), cuyo comportamiento se ajusta al modelo reologico propuesto por Christensen y Anderson. Los parametros quimicos comprenden la composicion generica (analisis SARA), asi como caracteristicas estructurales y funcionales (analisis FTIR).Las correlaciones obtenidas muestran que el indice reologico (R) puede ser estimado a partir del Indice de Inestabilidad Coloidal (Ic) y el Indice de Sulfoxidos (S=O) con un grado de correlacion de 83,81%, mientras que el logaritmo de la frecuencia de transicion (log ωc) puede ser estimado a partir del Indice de Alifaticos (Al) y el indice de Sulfoxidos (S=O), con un grado de correlacion del 81,88%. Statistical relationships to estimate rheological properties of aged and non-aged asphalts Abstract In this work, the statistical relationships for prediction of rheological parameters from chemical parameters were obtained. The asphalts studied were two asphalts produced in Colombia and an asphalt produced in Venezuela. The three asphalts were subjected to accelerated aging by Rolling Thin Film Oven Test (RTFOT) and Pressure Aging Vessel (PAV) procedures.Master curves for each asphalt were obtained by Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA). Rheological parameters were obtained by non-linear regression analysis, to ft the master curves for each asphalt to the rheological model proposed by Christensen-Anderson. Chemical parameters were those of composition (SARA analysis), structural and functional features (FTIR analysis).The obtained relationships show that the Rheological Index can be estimated from Sulfoxide Index and Gaestel Index, with a correlation of 83,81% while the crossover frequency can be estimated from the Aliphatic Index and Sulfoxide Index, with a correlation of 81,88%.
