RESUMEN La libertad religiosa es un derecho fundamental, que se refiere a la opcion que tiene cada ser humano de elegir libremente su religion, de no elegir ninguna, o de no creer o validar la existencia de un Dios (ateismo y agnosticismo) y poder ejercer dicha creencia publicamente, sin ser victima de opresion, discriminacion o intento de cambiarla. Con el presente articulo no pretende traer nada nuevo, todo lo que mencionare creo que ya ha sido escrito, mas solo pretendo brindar algunos alcances del tratamiento del derecho fundamental a la libertad de religion en el Peru, asi como en las Leyes Fundamentales de algunos paises de America Latina. ABSTRACT Religious freedom is a fundamental right, which refers to the option of every human being to freely choose their religion, to choose no, or not to believe or validate the existence of a God (atheism and agnosticism) and to carry on that belief publicly, without being a victim of oppression, discrimination, or attempt to change it.
