This document deals with the evaluation and articulation of strategies andprograms for sustainable plan to handle solid waste residues in Acacias(Meta). According to both resolution 1045 of 2003 and decree 1713 of2002, team members applied the so-called Methodology to Develop anIntegral Solid Waste Manage Plan. After identifying how deficient garbagecollection and final disposal negatively affected the environment,they advised to reinstall the Trash Recycling Plant which used to functionin that municipality.
