This investigation is based in studying experiences of media criticism and citizenship construction which in the last years are more visible and legitimate. For this, were chosen the Observatorio da Imprensa (Brasil), la Veeduria Ciudadana de Comunicacion de Peru y el Compromiso por una Calidad de Television para la Infancia en Colombia. In the first part a presentation is made on the importance of this kind of experiences, especially in Latin America; in the second part I explain the main questions and also the purposes of the research. The third part shows the theoretical bases that sustain them. The fourth part shows the methodological design sketch of the work, which goes around the Case Studies to finish with the results and conclusions.
