Abstract This article aims to delve the reader in the study of a widespread phenomenon among researchers in Human Resources, allowing engagement with the concept of organizational culture as a field that causes an impact on business productivity. Its main purpose is to identify the characteristics of transformation in organizational culture of a Valle del Cauca, Colombia food company, following its integration with a business group. It is analyzed from the 13 dimensions of culture of Rodriguez and Zapata (2008), which allow approaching the study from both the qualitative and the descriptive dimension. Finally, it seeks to establish the components of culture that are transformed, those who stay and those who definitely disappear due to the integration of one company with another.
