The processes of citizenship training and human rights constitute a concern of Colombia's Ministry of National Education and of their teachers in general, what can be noticed in the guidelines proposed by this Ministry (2002), the institutional educational projects and the programs of different areas that make up the study plans. To contribute with these processes, the Ministry of National Education structured some orientations about competences to be implemented by pedagogical projects as a cross curricular component of Educational Institutions and also in the development of the different areas that make up the study plan. Considering that the area of Physical Education, Recreation and Sport generate a suitable atmosphere to develop citizen competences, the research group Motor Action of the South Colombian University carried out a research that allowed drawing pedagogical strategies to strengthen the processes of citizenship training and the construction of a culture of piece.
