Based on the structural proposal of a curriculum by competences for the formation of professionals shown at an international seminary sponsored by the Universidad del Norte(Colombia) and CINDA (Chile), and the socialization with the Universidad Politecnia de Nicaragua and the Universities Catolica and Javeriana from Bogota, this work is shown, which qualifies a curriculum structure and functional process based on competences under the concept of a integral formation and appropriate to the determinate circumstances like the challenges of the modernity .
