SUMMARY Isolated retrograde amnesia is an uncommon Neuropsychological deficit and its etiology, clinical features, imaging and recovery have been poorly documented. This article reports the clinical case of a 28 year old female patient, resident in Medellin, Colombia, who after a kidnapping, suffers loss of remote memory.
