The Personal Web Tasking workshop is the second in a series that started in the context of the ICWS 2013 conference (in June 2013). The objective of the workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in developing a new generation of the web as a platform programmable by end users, through (a) languages for the specification of user-facing tasks, (b) flexible run-time management of these tasks by the users themselves through any device on any platform and by autonomous personal agents, and (c) middleware support for a web-wide integration of RESTful resources, exposing a standard interface.
