Se presentan 2 casos de lepra visceral del Serviciode Leprologia del Instituto de Biomedicina.A estos casos se le practico amplio estudio paraconfirmacion del diagnostico de lepra visceralque incluyo linfas, biopsia de piel, nervios yorganos internos afectados (medula osea, higado,bazo) y ecosonograma abdominal. Se realizarevision de la literatura referente a esta rarapatologia. SUMMARY We present two cases of visceral leprosy belonging to the Leprology Service of the Institute of Biomedicine. These cases were amply studied to confirm the diagnosis of visceral leprosy through semars, biopsy of skin, nerves and compromised internal organs (bone marrow, liver, spleen) and abdominal echosonogram. The literature was revised in relation to this rare pathology.
