The transmission of the Christian message is expressed in a variety of expressions, in the liturgy, the spiritual traditions, theological statements and the legal order. East and West expressed the divine mysteries, through different methods and approaches. The II Vatican Council, through the Unitatis redintegratio decree, recognizes this as legitimate diversity. There is no opposition between faith and pluralism, when grounded in the mystery of Christ. The theological formulas have as na object the specific qualification of a particular theology, the certainty about the proposed truth. The criterion is the faith of the Church, because in it the divine revelation is guarded, transmitted and interpreted. Therefore, the theological issues are also ecclesiological. The unity and diversity of faith and formulas are related to the sacramental life and the sacramental right, questions about the woman, the sacred ministry and the diaconate were also considered, as a permanent ministry. The fecundity of the plurallity of doctrines, symbols, eituals, disciplines and institutions must be the expression of the unique apostolic Tradition, so that there are no critical injuries in the Church.
