This article focus attention in discussing sorne reasonings supported in research about the use of cornputers in the classroorn, and it also gives sorne examples of the use of software in the rnathernatics class. The purpose of these examples is to rnake teachers think about their need to get involved in using and learning new technologies, in addition the possible structure of the kinds of problerns in the teacher's training, and sorne irnplilcations in the curriculum
