This article is part of an investigation called Proposal for the Implementation of Healthy Universidad in the Military Nueva Granada University (UMNG) lead by the Education and Humanities Faculty. The project has in one of its objectives to diagnose the knowledge that family parents have of the students at the UMNG on different health topics. The methodological foundation of this study is of qualitative approach, the type of research is descriptive, using the hermeneutic phenomenological paradigm, it consists of a collecting questionnaire of information with seven variables, where they interpreted each one of them to accomplish some useful recommendations for the UMNG. Finally, the relation that has the university and health in the comprehensive formation of the individual, will make itself known, it will show up results and one sketch of the importance that has the implementation of healthy programs in the whole university community.
