Resumen El presente texto es una reflexion sobre la importancia de la fotografia como documento historico visto a traves del suceso del 9 de Abril de 1948 “el Bogotazo”. De este modo, se analizara el papel del foto reportero y su intencion a la hora de tomar una fotografia. Ademas de mostrar parte de la memoria visual que hay sobre el Bogotazo, desde la perspectiva “oficial” como lo presentaron la Revista LIFE y el periodico El Tiempo, para contrastar con la memoria “no oficial” que son las fotografias que con el paso de los anos salieron a la luz publica.
