En el presente ensayo ** mostraremos como en Poemas de Calle Lomba , a traves de un lenguaje barroco, se estructura una revision mitica de la historia de America. Pedro Blas Julio Romero registra la genesis de una voz americana de resistencia que se levanta frente a la violencia simbolica ejercida por el embate colonizador, configurando en este poemario un relato fundacional e historico alterno, en el que se incluyen la memoria ancestral afro, los referentes culturales del mundo indigena y la cultura popular contemporanea. ABSTRACT In this essay we show how in “Poemas de Calle Lomba”, is structured a review of the mythical history of America through a baroque language. Pedro Blas Julio Romero records the genesis of an American voice of resistance that stands opposite the symbolic violence exerted by the onslaught colonizer, setting in this poetic work an alternative historical and foundational story, which includes the African ancestral memory, the cultural references of the indigenous world and the contemporary popular culture.
