En el presente ensayo ** mostraremos como en Poemas de Calle Lomba , a traves de un lenguaje barroco, se estructura una revision mitica de la historia de America. Pedro Blas Julio Romero registra la gene­sis de una voz americana de resistencia que se levanta frente a la violencia sim­bolica ejercida por el embate colonizador, configurando en este poemario un relato fundacional e historico alterno, en el que se incluyen la memoria ancestral afro, los referentes culturales del mundo indigena y la cultura popular contemporanea. ABSTRACT In this essay we show how in “Poemas de Calle Lomba”, is structured a review of the mythical history of America through a baroque language. Pedro Blas Julio Romero records the genesis of an Ameri­can voice of resistance that stands oppo­site the symbolic violence exerted by the onslaught colonizer, setting in this poetic work an alternative historical and founda­tional story, which includes the African ancestral memory, the cultural references of the indigenous world and the contem­porary popular culture.
