In this research, the corrosion behavior of AISI 304H and T22 (2¼Cr - 1Mo) alloys exposed to 80%V2O5 - 20%Na2SO4 salt at a temperature range between 550°C and 700°C in 99%O 2 - 1%SO2 gas environment was evaluated. The corrosion rate and corrosion type were found by using electrochemical noise and then co mparing with mass loss results. Skewness, Kurtosis, corrosion rate and resistance noise were obtained from statistical analysis in time. Results found by gravimetric and noise techniques were quite similar and the kurtosis and skewness data were good indicators of corrosion type. Besides, corrosion attack was more severe at higher temperatures.
