The A. describes the principal formations of the Guajira peninsula, with particular emphasis on the crystalline ones, that up to date are nearly unknown; he puts on evidence the presence of two succesive granitizations (one migmatization and one plutonization) and he makes some considerations on their genesis and geological age.
