Resumen Este articulo presenta algunos de los resultados de un estudio comparativo que buscaba determinar el impacto de los Objetos de Aprendizaje (OA) en el desempeno academico, en terminos del rendimiento (calificacion) en diferentes test con estudiantes de grado noveno. Las muestras corresponden a estudiantes de dos instituciones educativas ubicadas en el municipio de Medellin y en el municipio de Duitama. En la primera muestra se intervino la clase de matematicas con OA y en la segunda no hubo intervencion. Los resultados de los test se analizaron de manera cuantitativa y mostraron que las tecnologias en si mismas y el uso de ellas por parte de los docentes, no generan una mejora significativa en el aprendizaje de las matematicas que se vea reflejada en el desempeno academico de los estudiantes si no existe la un acompanamiento permanente y un proceso de cambio en sus practicas docentes. Palabras clave Mediadores del aprendizaje, TIC, Objetos de Aprendizaje (OA) Abstract This article presents some of the results of a comparative study intended to determine the effect of Learning Objects (LO) on the academic performance, related to grading, in mathematics courses of high school students. The statistical samples are formed by students from two educational institutions located in the municipality of Medellin and the municipality of Duitama, Colombia. The first sample group used LO during course sessions the second one did not use them. The results of the exams were analyzed quantitatively and showed that the technologies themselves, and the use of them by the teachers, do not result in a significant improvement on the learning of mathematics, that could be verified in the academic performance of the students if there is no permanent counsel, and if not is adopted a process of change in their teaching practices. Keywords Learning intermediating agents, ICT, Learning Objects (LO) Resume Cet article presente quelques des resultats d’une etude comparative qui cherche de determiner l’effet des objets d’apprentissage sur la performance academique, en termes des notes dans les examens avec des etudiants du quatrieme niveau college. Les echantillons statistiques sont a deux institutions educatives des municipalites de Medellin et Duitama, en Colombie. Les objets d’apprentissage ont ete utilises sur le premier echantillon, la seconde ne les a utilises pas. Les resultats des examens ont ete analyses de maniere quantitative et nous montrent que las technologies eux-memes, et leur usage chez les professeurs, ne produisent pas une amelioration significative sur l’apprentissage des mathematiques, qui on voie reflete dans la performance academique des etudiants, si il n’y a pas un conseil permanent et un processus de changement dans les pratiques des professeurs.
