Se presenta el resultado de la investigacion Fundamentacion epistemologica del objeto de estudio de la bibliotecologia orientada al contexto sociocultural colombiano , con el fin de aportar a la cons­truccion de una base epistemologica para el objeto de estudio de la bibliotecologia y proponer practicas y/o metodologias acordes con el contexto sociocultural colombiano, explicado desde el enfoque de los estudios culturales y de la comunicacion. Para lograrlo, se expone, en primer lugar, el metodo hermeneutico objetivo o de la logica situacional; a continuacion, se define el enfoque de los estudios culturales y de la comunicacion, que orienta la descripcion y explicacion del contexto sociocultural colombiano, con base en el cual se construye un modelo hipotetico provisional para contrastar los objetos de estudio de la bibliotecologia recopilados en la literatura especializada; por ultimo, se propone un objeto de estudio para la bibliotecologia que. de acuerdo con las tendencias contemporaneas de las ciencias sociales, puede corresponder con el contexto sociocultural en el que esta inmerso el desarrollo de la ciencia bibliotecologica y el ejercicio de la profesion.Palabras clave: epistemologia de la bibliotecologia, objeto de estudio de la bibliotecologia, teoria de la bibliotecologia, ciencia bibliotecologica, metodo hermeutico objetivo, racionalismo critico, hermeneutica filosofica, estudios culturales y de la comunicacion.Proposition of Study Subject for a Library Science Oriented to the Colombian Socio-Cultural Context.AbstractIs showed the result of the investigation: Epistemologican foundation of the study subject of the library science oriented to the Colombian socio-cultural in order to contribute to the construction of a epistemological basis for the study object of the library science and to propose practices and/or methodologies agreed with the Colombian socio-cultural context, explained from the grasp of cultural and communication studies. To obtain it, is exposed, first, the objective hermeneutic method or of the placement logic; later, is defined the grasp of cultural and communication studies, that orientate the description and explanation of the Colombian socio-cultural context, from which is constructed an hypothetical and provisional method in order to compare the study subjects of the library science compiled in the specialized literature; and, at least, is proposed an study subject for the library science that agree with the contemporary tendencies of the social sciences, could correspond with the socio-cultural context in which the library science and the profession exercise are immersed.Keywords: Library science epistemology, library science study subject, library science theory, library science, objetive hermeneutic method, critic rationalism, philosophical hermeneutic, cultural and communication studies.
