This paper approaches the problems associated with globalization through a brief document revision and a discussion of its results, from the persepctive of those authors who consider globalization as an inevitable and positive reality in the world context, and who object to those who have considered only its economic and maket implications. Education in a situation of globalization is discussed as an adequate strategy that, from a critical perspective, makes it possible to reorient its aims in terms of inclusion. Thus, education is seen from a different and positive perspective. The main argument is that education takes place IN globalization, not AGAINST it. This makes it possible to transform and reorient reality, taking into account theories of development from the inside, allowing globalizaton to be understood as a key element in human and social development.
