?Is it possible to talk about a national-regional Caribbean identity? Using this question as a starting point, Emilio Pantojas analyses the possibilities of Caribbean integration in the XXI century. Along the article, the author explains a ―Caribbean ethos‖ that expresses itself trough culture, aesthetics and narrative. This ―ethos‖ whoever, doesn‘t translate into economical and political aspects such as the conformation of a Caribbean States federation or an commonwealth of nations such as the European due to the political and economical interest of the insular-nations, every day more distant from each other.
