En este trabajo se presenta el proceso de obtencion de polvos ceramicos de hexaferrita de estroncio, SrFe12O19, por los metodos de sintesis Pechini y Combustion, variando parametros como precursores de hierro, pH de solucion y tratamiento termico. La caracterizacion estructural de las muestras obtenidas se hizo mediante difraccion de rayos X (DRX), que permitio asegurar la presencia de SrFe12O19 como fase unica, y la caracterizacion morfologica se realizo con la tecnica de microscopia electronica (barrido y transmision), determinando una estructura hexagonal y rango de tamano de 200 a 300 nm. In this work is reported the process of obtaining ceramic powders of strontium hexaferrite, SrFe 12 O 19 by the methods of synthesis, Pechini and combustion, varying parameters such as iron precursors, pH of solution and heat treatment. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy techniques were applied to evaluate the microstructure, composition and crystallite size oftheSrFe 12 O 19 samples, determining hexagonal structure size in the range of 200 to 300nm.
