El articulo resalta los cambios curriculares dados a partir del ano 2000 en la Carrera de Enfermeria, y el proceso de revision curricular que se adopto. Se definen los criterios orientadores del proceso, el modelo curricular utilizado y la propuesta metodologica. El desarrollo de las competencias propuestas en las intencionalidades formativas del profesional de enfermeria de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, se logra a partir de una estructura curricular organizada por siete nucleos tematicos, entendida esta como la organizacion que aborda integralmente el estudio, analisis e investigacion de los fenomenos relacionados con el saber academico y el producido por los diferentes escenarios de socializacion. Esta estructura curricular exige una participacion activa del docente y el estudiante en el proceso y el uso de mediaciones pedagogicas de interaccion, comunicabilidad y la utilizacion de escenarios de practica que permitan el contacto directo del estudiante con la realidad nacional de salud y con el ejercicio profesional. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this article is to shows the curriculum's changes given from the year 2000 in the nursing career and the revision process that took place. The oriented criteria of the process are defined, as well as the curricular model and the methodological proposal.The development of the wordwide skills of the nursing professional of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana is accomplished by an organized curricular structure in seven different topics, being this an organization that facees in a global perspective, all the studies, analysis, and investigations of the phenomena related with the academic kowledge and the one produced by the different socialization scenarios.
