ResumoO aumento da concorrencia no mercado obriga os gestores a reestruturar as organizacoes e buscar novas formas e instrumentos de gestao. Nesta perspectiva, o artigo objetivademonstrar o grau de satisfacao com a utilizacao de instrumentos de gestao nas industrias automobilisticas no Brasil, nas dimensoes de beneficios alcancados, resultados financeiros, capacidade de desempenho de longo prazo, capacidade de posicionamento competitivo e integracao organizacional. Para tanto, realizou-se um estudo descritivo, do tipo survey, com abordagem quantitativa. A populacao compreende as 25 empresas filiadas a Associacao Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veiculos Automotores e a amostra por acessibilidade constitui-se das 13 empresas respondentes. O instrumento de pesquisa utilizado, um questionario com perguntas fechadas, foi enviado por correio eletronico. Os dados foram submetidos a analise descritiva, com uso de ferramental estatistico, tendo como tecnica a estatistica descritiva. Os resultados da pesquisa evidenciam maior grau de satisfacao, em todas as dimensoes analisadas, para o instrumento de gestao custos gerenciais.Palavras-chave: Grau de satisfacao. Dimensoes. From this perspective, this article's objective is to demonstrate the degree of satisfaction with the utilization of management tools in the Brazilian automotive industry,through the dimensions of the benefits reached, financial results, capability and performance over a long period, and their capacity to position competitively and to be integrated within an organization. To achieve this, a descriptive study was conducted using a survey with a quantitative approach. The potential group comprised the 25 companies associated to the National Association of Motor Vehicle Makers (Associacao Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veiculos Automotores), and the sample group was made up of 13 of those companies through motives of accessibility. The research method used was a questionnaire with closed questions, sent by electronic mail. This data was submitted to descriptive analysis, with the use of a statistical tool, using the technique of descriptive statistics. The results of the research show a greater degree of satisfaction in all the dimensions analyzed for the management tool for management costs.Key words: Degree of satisfaction. Dimensions.
