En este articulo se realizo un analisis comparativo de los resultados arrojados por un Observatorio Laboral de Psicologia en la ciudad de Medellin en dos periodos diferentes, uno en el ano 2008 y otro en el 2010. El objetivo del Observatorio fue analizar las condiciones laborales, actividades y/o funciones que realizan los psicologos, las competencias requeridas, etcetera, en el campo clinico, educativo, organizacional y social. El tipo de enfoque es cuantitativo con un metodo empirico analitico descriptivo correlacional. Se realizo un recorrido teorico por la historia, la fundamentacion teorica de los campos clinico, educativo, organizacional y social, y las funciones que realizan los psicologos en su ejercicio profesional. La encuesta disenada permitio concluir sobre condiciones laborales como tipos de contratos, salarios, sectores de las empresas que vinculan los psicologos, actividades que realizan, campos de ejercicio de la profesion y la preparacion e interes en cuanto a formacion de posgrado de los psicologos. ABSTRACT In this article is realized a comparative analysis of the results thrown by a labor observatory of Psychology realized in the city of Medellin in two different periods, one in the year 2008 and other one in 2010. The aim of the observatory is to analyze the working conditions, activities and/or functions that the psychologists realize, the needed competitions, etc., of the psychologists in the clinical, educational field, organizational and social. The type of approach is quantitative with an empirical analytical descriptive method correlacional. A theoretical tour was realized by the history, the theoretical foundation of the fields clinical, educationally, organizational and social, and the functions that the psychologists realize in his professional exercise. The designed survey allowed concluding on working conditions as types of contracts, wages, sectors of the companies, the psychologists link, activities that they realize, fields of exercise of the profession and preparation and interest in the post degree formation of psychologists.
