Efecto del diclorhidrato de 7-metoxi-3-cloro-9- (1-metil-4-dietilamino) butilaminoacridina en placa mioneural, ganglio simpático servical superior, áreas corticales y núcleos subcorticales
1) The administration of hydrochlorate of quinacrine in neuro-muscular rat dosage increases the threshold and decreases the amplitude of the response to a single indirect stimulus; the same effect is obtained in imperfect or perfect tetany. the effect of hydrochlorate of quinacrine disappears when methylsuphate of neostigmine is administered. There is no modification of the contractions evoked by direct stimulation. 2) The superior sympathetic cervical ganglia does not originate changes of facilitation, inhibition or modification to the threshold when single or continuous stimulations are applied. 3) The post-discharge seizures aroused by rhe stimulation of the subcortical nucleus, complex amygdaloid and supramamilar hypothalamic, are modified by the administration of the drug, producing changes which are characterized by an increase of the threshold or voltage, decrease of the amplitude, diffusion and shortening of the total duration of the post-discharge seizures. The asynchronism rhy'thmic activation is converted to synchronism. 4) The post-discharges seizures released by the stimulation of cortical areas are modified by the hydrochlorate of quinacrine in cortex but do not impede ist diffusion to the subcortical nucleus. The changes effected in the cortex are characterized by an decrease in the amplitude and shortening of the total duration time and synchoronism of the rhythmic activation.
