This study was evaluated in the cooperation box; the typology of the cooperation presentation by sex. 6 rats Rattus norvegicus, 3 males and 3 females were used and exposed to the same conditions. The tests were carried out during ten days. It was observed that when rats undergo the experimental task individually, male rats are more efficient than females, however, when rats undergo an experimental cooperation context, which requires social interaction, the efficiency when performing the task is observed in female rats, in the group female - female. It is concluded that according to the analysis of cooperative behavior in rats, according to prospects by sex, male efficiency occurs under conditions of dominance and female under the formation of alliances
