The analysis of the faunistic remains found in the prehispanic burial at a locality of Montalvito (Espinal-Tolima) is presented. The six excavated tombs were elaborated during the late formative period (Montalvo Complex) and its temporal asignation corresponds to the first millennium before Christ.
