Es un avance de investigacion acerca del desempeno dialectico de Socrates en cuanto abogadode si mismo en el juicio incoado en contra suya por la polis ateniense en el 399 a.n.e. Consecuenciade esa exploracion microhistorica y hermeneutica, centrada principalmente en La Apologia (ycomplementada con otros dialogos “socraticos” de Platon), es la tesis que nos muestra un Socratesdesconocido: maniatico, intolerante, garrulo, falaz y supersticioso, un perfi l de personalidad y temperamento,resueltamente distinto de la imagen clasica acunada por Platon y enriquecida por losexegetas y cultores historicos de su saga intelectual.Palabras claves: Socrates, Atenas, Apologia, Platon, Metalogica, Hermeneutica. ABSTRACTIt is a preview of the research about Socrates’s dialectical performance as lawyer of himself at thetrial opened against him by the Athenian polis in 399 BC.
