The aim of this article is to present a proposal of clinical psychology and its method adapted to postmodernity and based in complex epistemology. Initially, a historical approximation of the concept is developed with special emphasis on clinic in psychology. Then, modernity and postmodernity are compared showing their differences during the transition from one to another and using this comparison as the frame to present the basis of a clinical psychology based on fuzzy sets, catastrophe theory, fractal theory and chaos theory as their principles. Finally, it is described the Psychological clinical method. Thus, the proposed method becomes an alternative to adequate clinical psychology at the proper challenges and demands of postmodern era, more relevant and contextualized.
