This article deals with the agriculture in Colombia during 1996. Founded on some indicators such as growth of the production, land reform, credits, prizes, balance of payment, etc. It gathers information and analyses the mains economics and management techniques carried out by Agriculture Ministery, to garantee an appropriate administration of the agricultural sector in Colombia. It has also been consideret the suitable actions to solve the mains problems of the agricultural sector. Finally, some results obtained to december 1996 are presented.
