Signal productivity in contemporary figurative-fantastic painting in Botero and Manzur is a theoretic-academic research contribution. Its main objective is forming new generations of painters, producing a new tool to encourage ideological and conceptual evolution in the artistic painting work creative process. In this way, it promotes the student-learner�s artistic taste maturity, aesthetic sense refining, and creative spirit greatness. On the other hand, it is an answer to the new institutional aesthetic challenge that searches for theoretical elements, in order to stimulate the reinvention of Colombian art and painting in the XXI century. It also opens new research fields in the plastic arts language, the aesthetic-symbolic characteristics of painting practice, and the image treatment, as a print of our culture, identity and idiosyncrasy, in building the historical-artistic legacy of our country.
