This paper offers a new vision of the main legal criteria in regulation of the general system of professional risks in the Colombian Social Security System. Mainly, stands for the current system of regulation, which contains the basic law according to the Act 1295 of 1994 of the Colombian Congress, the aftermath of this regulation with the rule of the Constitutional Court (C.-452/2002) and the law 776 of 2002. The paper explains the content of the main decrees of the professional risks system.
