This study investigated the influence of new information and communication technologies (new ICTs) on the individual, social and political dimensions that people assume in different places in which they operate. For this purpose, a questionnaire was designed based on facet theory, which was given to 95 people, including teachers, students, parents and office workers. The results were analyzed using two multidimensional scaling techniques: SSA and POSA. The findings show that the use of new ICTs has an impact on the lives of people, based on the role played as technological devices which allow access to information and facilitate social interactions in different places where social life is developed thus, the results differ depending on the role played by individuals within society.
