This paper is a contribution to the knowledge of Huilatherium pluriplicatum VILLARROEL & GUERRERO, 1985, Leontiniid of the Miocene of La Venta region (Huila, Colombia). The detailed description of deciduous teeth of both upper and lower dentitions is studied; comparison is made with permanent dentition. A new more adequate morphodentary terminology is proposed which is based on other former propositions.
