Septic shock comprise a cascade of metabolic, hemodynamic and clinical changes provoked from the release of toxic bacterial products. Recent advances in understanding the pathophysiology of septic shock have suggested modalities of interrupting the earliest stages in the pathogenic mechanism and afford sorne hope of diminishing high mortality. However, at this time, early diagnosis and institution of appropriate medical and, surgical therapy seem to he the way to manage it.
