Considerar al escritor Jose Luis Garces Gonzalez en el contexto del Caribe frente al quehacer literario y la cultura, es el eje central de este escrito. Para ello, se inicia con el perfil general del escritor, luego se configura en lineas generales el conjunto de su obra y posteriormente se hace una breve presentacion de su narrativa. ABSTRACT The main aim of this document is to analyze the writer Jose Luis Garces Gonzalez in the setting of the Caribbean, by facing literary work and culture. To do this, I introduce the writer’s general profile, then I study his whole work from a general perspective and then, I make a brief analysis of his narrative.
