This article provides an approach to the perceptions of fidelity that are structured into four Swinger couples. A brief historical review about sexuality, their practices and their social regulation is presented. Subsequently, Swinger practices address an approach tolegal and academic processes which have been developed related to it, and the way faithfulness is perceived from the testimony of some of the interviewees. The conclusions contribute to the discussion about sexual practices with a particular view on the changes intimate and intrinsic fi delity suffers when couples adopt this life style.
