This article presents the results obtained in first stage of project “technical losses reduction using corrective measured by steps. The general problem to solve consists in developing a combined methodology that coordinates the implementation of measures for the reduction technical losses. Many measures can be taken, among them: i) transference of load (reconfiguration), ii) balanceof phases, iii) optimal location of reactives, iv) replacement of conductors, v) conversion of single-phase and three-wire system tothree-phase system and vi) modification of taps in distributiontransformers. Here, first stage of project is implemented and consists in toapply novel and efficient techniques of optimization to solve steps i), ii), iii) and iv) in disconnect form.
